tanning bed bulbs

The bulbs that are used in tanning beds are a lot more than just simple fluorescent office ceiling lights. Tanning bed bulbs, also called tanning bed lamps, come in a number of different types, such as bulbs for deep tanning, bulbs for bronzing, bulbs designed specifically for tanning the face and facial area, among others. There are even different varieties of bulbs made for different skin tones.

That way a person with naturally darker skin can get a tan that's better for their complexion, just as a fair-skinner individual would be able to get a tan that will be safest for their skin as well. The shade of tan you achieve while tanning will depend on the spectrum of light that is emitted by the lamps in the tanning bed. This is how you can custom tailor exactly how deep and dark you want your tan to become.

More than just a light box, sun beds are always on the cutting edge of technology. The tanning industry has kept it their top priority to keep tanning a safe and effective process. Tanning bed bulbs are held to very strict regulations and standards, and these specifications keep the consumer as safe as possible. There are limits that have been placed on sun bed lamps as far as how much UV ray output they are allowed to have.

This is to keep their use as safe as possible. Used correctly, tanning beds can provide you with a beautiful, rich, even tan that is much safer than the tan you'd get from the sun This is because tanning bed bulbs are made under very strict controls, so you can control exactly how much and what kind of UV rays you're getting, and for what specific length of time.

Tanning bed bulbs are specifically tailored to use in a tanning bed. You cannot fake a tanning bed by laying underneath some fluorescent bulbs from an office supply store. Sun bed lamps come in two varieties, high pressure bulbs and low pressure bulbs. High pressure sun bed lamps will come in a length that goes from approximately three to five inches and they will range anywhere from 250 to 2,000 watts.

It is the 400 watt bulbs which are the most popular among the high pressure bulbs. High pressure bulbs are the tanning bed bulbs most frequented placed in the area that will tan your face. These bulbs are most frequently constructed of quartz glass and have a special coating, both of which will help to filter the most dangerous of the ultraviolet rays.

Low pressure tanning bed bulbs are more similar to typical fluorescent bulbs, however, they are also constructed with a glass tube which will filter out the dangerous UVC ultraviolet rays.
